COURIER
SERVICE
Car 54 Courier treats every job as if it was high priority, because to us it is.!
- $ There is NO EXTRA CHARGE for RUSH or EMERGENCY! $
- No additional charge for packages that weigh up to 99 lbs. Additional charges are for orders that weigh more than 100 lbs.
- The first 10 minutes free. Additional Charges are applied to orders that require our driver to wait in excess of 10 minutes. This includes loading and unloading time.
- IF A WAGON OR PICK UP IS REQUIRED - Deliveries are $10.00 extra.
- IF A VAN IS REQUIRED - Deliveries are $20.00 extra.
BASIC SERVICES
Car 54 Courier can be reached 24 hours a day/365 days a year.
- Our regular business hours are 7:00 AM through 5:00 PM.
- Between the hours of 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM our charges increase to 1.5 times the normal rate.
- Between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, our charges increase to 2.25 times the normal rate, (Minimums apply). *
HOURS/PRICING
Scheduled Services: are designed to provide economical solutions for those customers with on going delivery needs. We will assign one of our qualified drivers to your route and also maintain a trained pool of back-up drivers that can step in at a moment’s notice. This cost-effective service is ideal for inter-office deliveries (mail, product transfers, bank deposits and other sensitive items) locally or out of town. These services include:
- REOCCURRING: Set schedule on a recurring weekly basis (i.e. MWF, M-F, etc…any day in a week or everyday in a week)
- PERIODIC: Schedule set based on a specific date recurring monthly (i.e., 1st, 15th, 30th, etc.)
- COPIES of all signed receipts with weekly invoice.
SCHEDULED SERVICES
If there is more then one delivery per pickup in the same direction, we may be able to discount the order.
MULTIPLE DELIVERIES
Primarily used for bankers boxes and a small number of bulky items.
WAGON
Only used for transporting cargo not affected by weather changes.
PICK UP
Handles a large number of boxes and bulky items. Can fit a small pallet load.
CARGO VAN
Ideal for pallets and longer box freight. *Scheduling is required.
24’ TRUCK
The simple act of getting your parcels from A to B shouldn’t be rocket science, that’s why at Car 54, we offer a simplified service; there are no complicated formulas, multiple weight breaks or messy con notes to complete… in fact our courier pricing structure is completely transparent.
